Krav Maga Worldwide – The Marni Fund

As a memorial tribute to an extraordinary woman, Marni Levine, Krav Maga Worldwide and STOP CANCER created The Marni Fund in 2006 with a shared mission dedicated to supporting young, innovative women’s cancer researchers who are identified by the STOP CANCER Research Awards Committee as showing the greatest potential for making major advances in the treatment or early diagnosis of cancer.

The Marni Fund is supported by funds raised through Krav Maga Fights Cancer Annual Seminars, special events and through donations directly to STOP CANCER in memory of Marni Levine. 100% of donations go directly to cancer research and are matched by the participating cancer center dollar-for-dollar with in-kind support, thereby doubling the value of the award

About Krav Maga

Krav Maga is the official self defense system of the Israeli Defense Forces, and has been taught to hundreds of law enforcement agencies and thousands of civilians in the United States.

Krav Maga Worldwide, Inc., was created in 1999 to help spread Krav Maga training across the United States and around the globe. Krav Maga Worldwide is currently the largest reality based self-defense organization in the world with over 240 licensed schools, over 500 law enforcement and government agencies and multiple specialized military units trained.

STOP CANCER is committed to funding the most promising and innovative scientists in their early research of all forms of cancer prevention, treatment, cures and subsequent clinical applications. STOP CANCER works primarily with local National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers and other qualified institutions in the United States to carry out its mission.
