Finding and Targeting the “Achilles Heel” in Lymphomas
One of the ultimate goals of experimental therapeutic cancer research is to develop agents that are specifically targeted to molecular changes which cause the cancer in the first place. Such agents that attack the weak spot (Achilles Heel) of cancer cells hold the promise of powerful anti-tumor activity with much less side effects than chemotherapy.
